Summer Cinema

Summer cinema in the courtyard of the Fritz Förster Building

It's summer, and what could be more appropriate for a cinema than to break free from the narrow confines and go outdoors!

Kino im Kasten is proud to present an open-air event series on campus in collaboration with the Student Council of the TU Dresden. Starting on June 19th, we will be showing a summer film every Friday from 9.30 pm on the lawn directly in the courtyard of the Fritz Förster Building.

Come early and secure one of the 50 comfortable StuRa lounge chairs and enjoy a wonderful evening with your friends, classmates or colleagues.

You can also bring a blanket to sit directly on the meadow. Mosquito repellent and warm clothing are recommended. In case of rain or storms, the respective film screenings will be moved to the cinema hall at Kino im Kasten and will start there at the same time. Please check our website and/or social media channels for information in case of bad weather.
